James Blaque

James Blaque, is a native of Cleveland, Ohio and a multi-talented singer, instrumentalist, songwriter, and producer. Coming from a very musically inclined family, he began singing and playing music at the age of 5. He became a professional musician at the age of 15, with several instruments to his credit- bass guitar, lead guitar, acoustic guitar, upright bass, piano and drums.

Professionally and personally influenced by artist and producers extending the gamut of musical genres, from Gospel greats such as The Winans, and Kirk Franklin; to R&B pioneers Stevie Wonder and Al Green; to Rock superstars like The Doors, ACDC, and Sting, it is no surprise that the unique sound James Blaque brings to the industry is fresh and original. Blaque is also inspired by the creative work of producers George Duke Rodney(DARKCHILD) Jerkins, RZA , Jus Blaze, Curtis Mayfield, Gamble & Huff, Isaac Hayes, Bill Withers and Bert Bacharach to name a few.

His upcoming debut single on Sugatop Music (Feb 2026) is a long time coming. Blaque is not a novice to the music industry -- as an experienced musician, he has shared the stage with the likes of Lyle Lovitt, Anthony Hamilton, Marvin Sapp, Karen Clark-Sheard, the late great Gerald LeVert, Maze featuring Frankie Beverly.  We are so excited to bring James' new music and experience to a global audience.
